Katharine Rowe Collages

Are you bored of grey roads, traffic lights and too many signposts? Fancy forever blue skies and lush ponds at the end of your street? Then welcome to Katharine Rowe Collages.

The impetus behind my collages is ‘an exotic view of the everyday’. The scenes are of well-known areas, mostly London but where you’d expect roads and traffic you find tropical animals and plants instead.

Here you can look at collages currently for sale and see some recent commissions where I have incorporated people’s family and friends along with quirky references to create a truly personal work of art.

All of the collages for sale are framed originals and will be on display at my forthcoming exhibition in the foyer of Chelsea & Westminster hospital, 369 Fulham Road, SW10 9NH, from 21st June - 5th July 2009.
