This was painted on another early morning. It wasn’t a particularly nice day but suddenly the sun popped out through the clouds. It was still quite murky and misty so I’ve kept a pink undertone through the painting. I’ve used fairly thick brushstrokes for such a small canvas too. (Canvas is only 18x14cm). I’ve framed it in a thick chunky dark grey frame to enhance the mood.
