There is something meditative about painting a still subject in the studio and if life has been stressful, I always turn to a still life painting to relax. Having worked as a florist previously, I love flowers and get excited about painting different flowers as they come into season across the year. The blossom in Spring always comes as such a blessed relief from the Winter. As with all my work, I use Michael Harding oil paints and work on linen canvas for the beautiful texture. Love your art work, especially the still life flowers, beautiful colours, I wonder if you have a public Facebook site so I can see your new creations as you release them, as I see a number of the paintings I liked have sold
Hi Tracy, I’m so sorry I am not very tech savvy and have just seen your lovely comment. I do put new work on FB I am on as katharinerowepainter
I also have a newsletter that I send out each month with new work I have completed and exhibition recommendations. If you would like me to put you on it, please email your email address to me at katharine@katharinerowe.com Apologies again for the slow reply!
