Jules Elie peonies

I love these dusky pink peonies, they somehow seem to be understated yet blowsy at the same time. The paint is quite thick which is difficult to reproduce via photograph.

The painting is framed in a bespoke off-white ‘tray frame’ which brings a modern edge to the painting.
