Sunshine on Saunton

Saunton Sands is so long and so flat that on a sunny day when the tide is out it feels unbelievably open with huge reflections. This was painted on a spring morning. It is quite a small canvas so I was looking to still capture that feeling of space.

Looking out you can see North Cornwall and Hartland Point in the far distance. The painting is framed in a bespoke tray frame.
