Winter sun in Trafalgar Square

I was looking to capture Winter light in this painting and tried to use as little description as possible on the iconic lions in Trafalgar Square. Whilst not quite monochrome, I have also used a limited palette which, oddly, I often find freeing rather than limiting.

This is not currently framed although I plan to frame it in a plain wooden tray frame.
