Painting Workshops

I run theme-led workshops, usually around a particular artist where we discuss the artist whilst everyone paints their own canvas. Sessions tend to last 3.5 hours and during the class we also discuss:

  • Sketching, drawing using a variety of media; pencils/ charcoal/ pastels

  • Experimental mark-making

  • Composition; how to start a painting

  • Line, tone, patten, texture, colour

  • Scale, spatial relationships and perspective

  • Volume and form

  • Colour theory

  • £75 per session 11am-2.30pm

Individual Tutoring: Adults and Children

  • A-level scholarship tutoring

  • 11+ tutoring

  • Individuals wanting to learn to paint with oils, really get to grips with how to mix paint, different approaches to paint application and the stages involved in creating a painting

  • Learn to draw

£45 per hour
