The ‘Life and Death in Pompeii and Herculaneum’ exhibition at the British Museum is truly fabulous. You really get a feel for how people lived then and how similar we are today. Lots of everyday objects as well as volcanoes and death to keep the kids interested too. Try and see it before it finishes on 29th September.
