Early Spring Sun in Trafalgar Square

This was an early morning in Spring with a surprise sunny day after several weeks of rain.  I wanted to use a limited palette to capture the underexposed nature of the low sun. I have used Michael Harding paints on a linen canvas. The painting is framed in a white bespoke tray frame.
